Bullring bike racks gone!!

This is not the first time we've put a post up here about disappearing bike racks in Birmingham city centre. Last time the venue was outside the central library and they were just moved along a little, not taken away completely.

This time it's the ones outside the bullring that have vanished!

You can still see the sign there about leaving bikes, but the racks to chain them to are no more.

Does anyone know why they've been taken away and whether any others are going back in? The city centre's lacking bike parking as it is, without losing even more!
